SCHENEVUS – Agnes M. (Evans) Adolfsen, 87, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
She was born February 21, 1922 in Valley Stream, the daughter of Thomas H. and Elsie Agnes (Lorenz) Evans.
She married Ralph Adolfsen Sr. on September 12, 1942 in Valley Stream. He passed away December 23, 1997.
Mrs. Adolfsen was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Schenevus/St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester and the Alter Rosary Society.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by a son, Ralph Adolfsen Jr. and wife, Karen, his daughter, Laurie and husband, Leonard Wilson and their son, Andrew, and his daughter, Moria Adolfsen and her children, Nathaniel, Kelsey, Victoria, Alexandra and Zachary; a son, Thomas Adolfsen and his four children, Seth, Uriah, Aaron and Joshua and Joshua's daughter, Evain; a son, Robert Adolfsen and wife, Irene, and their daughter, Stefanie; a daughter, Therese Adolfsen-Robinson and her daughter, Valentina; a brother, James Evans; a sister, Elsie Bratisax and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Evans.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester, with the Reverend Ronald L. Green, MM, as celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
