ONEONTA – Alfred C. Fankhauser, 64, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
Born on August 21, 1943 in Oneonta, he was a graduate of Otego Central School.
Alfred was a United States Army Vietnam veteran, serving from 1967 to 1980.
Al has worked for Jack Knickerson, Manco and the Oneonta YMCA.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 6 p.m. to the funeral service time at 7 p.m. at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta.
Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Gerald B.H. Soloman Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Lord's Table, in care of St. James' Episcopal Church, 305 Main St., Oneonta, NY 13820.
