Alice Thorkelsen, 92, of Deer Park, died March 13, 2015; beloved wife of the late Ivar; loving mother of Janice Thorkelsen, Joanne Coppola (Albert), Judith Scheiner (Charles); cherished grandmother of James, Kristin, Scott, Andrew and Matthew; great-grandmother of nine; beloved sister of Evelyn Oberg, Edna McGrath and the late Virginia Murray; and nieces, nephews, family and loving friends.

The memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21st at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 33 Bayshore Rd., Deer Park. The committal service will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
