Obituary

SCHENEVUS – Ann Grant, 42, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

She was born March 24, 1973 in Cooperstown, the daughter of Rowena Crandall and Dennis R. Grant.

Ann spent a big part of her life in Seattle, WA. She was employed by the McDonald's franchise, where she was a market manager in Seattle for many years. She moved to New York four years ago and continued working for McDonald's on Chestnut Street in Oneonta. Currently she was working with Burton Landscaping. She truly loved the great outdoors.

Ann very much was enjoying the country life. She loved all her animals and acquired a knack for communicating with them, especially her birds. She enjoyed 4-wheeling and harvesting ginseng. She was most happy when working with Robert at the landscaping business and spending time with the grand kids. While she did enjoy working with Robert, she loved the free time they spent together the most.

She is survived by her father, Dennis and Virginia Grant of Shirley, NY; her mother, Rowena Crandall of Virginia; her children, Kahlid Ellison and Brandon Grant, both of Seattle, WA and Angelica Weber of Schenevus; her sisters, Rowena and Randy Hoskins of the Town of Maine, Tracy Grant of Endicott, and Patricia Bassett and Keith Fullan of Deposit; lots of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; her best friend and finance, Robert Burton, Sr. of Schenevus and children, Eric, Josh, Jessica, Gianna and Robert; two grandchildren, Eli and Hannah and a great-niece, Jaylarose, the three of them she loved dearly.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. with the funeral service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Ronald Green, officiating on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.

Donations may be sent in loving memory to a trust fund for daughter, Angelica. More information will available at the funeral home.
