ONEONTA - Anna Yvonne Henry, 66, passed away on August 5, 2026, at her home.

She was born on December 4, 1959, in South Carolina. Anna later moved to Oneonta from New Jersey to be closer to her grandchildren. She was an exceptionally intelligent woman, even skipping from the 9th grade directly to the 11th grade in high school. She also had a deep love for music and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Akim Philpot and Danisha Philpot; her grandchildren, Duquan, Tanya, Nala, Miya, Geneva, Lincoln, and Alcinder Bismi; and her great-grandchildren, Izaish, Zion, Alaiah, Kaseem, Elijah, and Josiah.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.
