Anna F. Roman, 82, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the O'Connor Hospital in Delhi.
She was born June 16, 1928 in Oneonta, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Parslow) Roman.
Anna was a graduate of Oneonta High School, Class of 1946.
She worked for Bendix, Enterprise Aluminum and retired from Oneonta Grocery Co.
Anna was a member of the Hartwick Rod and Gun Club and Oneonta Sportsman Club. She enjoyed bowling and was on various leagues.
She is survived by her cousins, Wanda R. Perry of Laurens, William G. Roman of Little Rock, AR, Walter A. Roman of Altamonte Springs, FL, Cecelia Prizzi of Avoca, PA, Joseph J. Roman of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Marianna Leib of Oneonta, Philip Holowacz of Unadilla, Phillip R. Sharpe of Gasport, Gary Powell of No Tonawanda, Sheila Brown of Rialto, CA and step-brothers and step-sister, Laura Haney of Franklin, William Bell of Oneonta, and Clifford Bell of Florida.
A graveside service will be held at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery 11 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2011, with the Rev. Harry Meyers, officiating.
