ONEONTA - Anna S. Thessen, 80, passed away October 28, 2019 at Fox Nursing Home, Oneonta.

Born January 4, 1939 in North Bergen, NJ, Anna worked as an attendant at Rockland County Psychiatric Ward. She was a member of the Schenevus Grange.  Anna had a deep love for animals and her grandchildren.

Survivors are two children, Russell Driemel and Terry and Dan Hunter; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; 5 brothers, 1 sister; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m., November 9, 2019 at the Schenevus Cemetery, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle officiating.

Donations may be made to American Cancer Society (breast cancer).
