MT. VISION – Anna E. Tilley, 92, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.



She was born September 12, 1918 in Worcester, the daughter of Raymond and Lorretta (Odell) Adee.



She married Lloyd Tilley on September 12, 1944.



Mrs. Tilley worked for many years a Newberry's in Cooperstown.



She was a member of the Mt. Vision Grange. She enjoyed making crafts and table decorations for the New Lisbon Community Center.



She loved to knit and sew. She donated handmade blankets and hats for premies in hospitals. Of course, she also made them for all of the new arrivals of the family. Nothing was more important to her than family.



She is survived by her daughter, Karen and Richard Garlick of Oneonta; her son, Kenneth and Barb Tilley of Mt. Vision; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, Phillip Adee of Worcester; her sister, Elizabeth Rowand of North Carolina; her sister-in-law, Bernice Marlette of Mt. Vision and many nieces and nephews.



She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd in December of 2002; two sisters, Nellie Shaw and Virginia Potter; 3 brothers, Clark, William and Walter Adee; a grandson, Daniel Garlick; and her parents.



A graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Mt. Vision Cemetery, with the Rev. Stephen Fournier, pastor of the Milford Center Community Bible Church, officiating.
