Obituary

ONEONTA – Anthony F. Palisi, 76, passed away quietly in his sleep on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.

He was born July 10, 1930 in San Francisco, CA, the son of Vincent and Alberta Palisi.

Anthony was a United States Army veteran, serving from 1948 to 1952. He was stationed in Japan during the Korean Conflict and obtained the rank of Corporal.

He resided at Nader Towers in Oneonta. He is fondly remembered by his friends for his column in the Nader Towers publication, "Tony's Corner", which he wrote for the past 10 years.

While living in California, Anthony obtained notable status as a Marin County Court Reporter.

He is survived by his children, Judith A. and her husband, John W. Cox, Robert T. and his wife, Mary C. Palisi and Patricia L. Dunphy-Addiss; three granddaughters; two grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter; and loving friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Martha M. Palisi and his son, Craig A. Palisi.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
