East Worcester – Arthur H. Morell, 82, passed away peacefully at home with his family on November 4, 2023.

He was born March 1, 1941 in Worcester, the son of Avery and Margaret (Kniffen) Morell.

Art started dating Alice Adair Hagadorn in 1963, they married in 1976.

He loved hunting, camping, old country music and he loved to dance and drink.  He worked various jobs, retiring from the Village of Cobleskill.

He is survived by his children, Steven (Beth) Morell, Bonnie (John) Coffin, Ricky (Tina) Hagadorn, Wanda Hagadorn, and Clarence Hagadorn Jr.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Bertha Cooper; and many nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Morell; his parents; daughter, Barbara Stevens; siblings, Ken Morell, Bob Morell, Roy Morell, Thomas Morell and Martha "Jane" Smith.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 9 at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, with the Rev Ray Richards, officiating.  There will be a gathering at 106 Main Street, East Worcester after the graveside.
