ONEONTA - Arthur B Palmer died unexpectedly on September 25th 2009.

He was born on September 1st 1936 at Fox Hospital, Oneonta.

He lived most of his life in Oneonta and had joined the United States Air Force November 13, 1953.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Palmer of 32 years; his daughter, Heather L Palmer of Cortland; a son, Joseph and wife, Pamela Lambert of Hobart; two grandchildren, Joey and Kouri Lambert of Hobart; his biological mother, Geraldine Sylick of Massachusetts; brother, Robert Harrington and wife, Marge of Clifton Park, half brother, Bill Miller and wife, Cassandra of Dover, NH; many nieces and nephew; three brothers-in-law, Bob, Dave and wife, Robin, and Peter Lambert; and four sisters-in law, Barbara and husband, Jim, Pat and husband, Mark, Diana, and Jeanette.

Art was predeceased by his brother, Donald Harrington; sister-in-law, Peg Whitehill; and adopted parents, Leo & Katherine Palmer.

Art loved to listen to Music take long walks with his beloved wife Liz. His favorite pastime was to visit coffee shops. Art and his wife loved to watch football together.

There will be not be a funeral or burial but arrangements are pending for a Irish Wake, which is what Art would want.
