Worcester - Barbara A. Beverland 69, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.



She was born on July 26, 1944 in Utica, the daughter of Thomas and Mildred (Marks) Morgan.



Barbara married Charles Beverland on April 20, 1965 at Christ Church in Poughkeepsie.



She was a manager with Super 8 Hotel in Oneonta and Cobleskill.



Barbara was past president of the Plattekill Fire Auxiliary, Girl Scout Leader in Plattekill, member of the Woman's Club in Worcester, and past president and current commissioner of the Worcester Hose Company.


Barbara is survived by her husband, Charles of Worcester; her children, Charles (Maria) Beverland Jr. of Texas, Kristine (Peter) Mravlja of Decatur, Mark (Gizelle) Beverland of Florida and Michael (Jo-Ann) Beverland of Worcester; 16
grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many cousins.


She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Mary Fisher.


A memorial service will be held 11:00 Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main Street in Worcester with the Rev. Susan
Wenner, officiating.


Calling hours will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at the funeral chapel.
