Betty E. Russ' Obituary
MARYLAND – Betty E. Russ, 91, passed away April 21, 2017 at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.
She was born April 30, 1925 in Oneonta, the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Grant) Kniskern.
Betty married Wilber "Mickey" Russ on October 13, 1945 and they shared 70 years together until his passing in May of 2016. They lived their entire married life in Maryland, NY.
Betty is survived by her three daughters, Eileen (Bob) Adair, Margo Russ, and Rosalie Higgins; three grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Higgins, Karen Mouton, and Anna Louise; and three great-grandchildren, Abby and Erin Higgins and Henri Mouton and a brother, Wayne (Janet) Kniskern.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Kniskern.
There will be a private burial at the Maryland Cemetery at a later date.
