Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly J. LeBeau, 89, of Oneonta, NY.

Beverly passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY.

Beverly's warm heart and steadfast commitment to her family and friends were hallmarks of her life.

Her journey through life had more then its fair share of struggles, loss and unbelievable hardships…  but through it all, Beverly always remained strong, and stayed the course for her Family.

She was a devoted mother, and a dear friend to all who knew her.

Despite the demands of raising her 8 children as a single parent, she pursued her passion for helping others by becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for 11 years at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital Nursing Home where she worked tirelessly, always ensuring her work reflected her strong values.

In her free time, Beverly loved gardening and spending sunny afternoons on her deck with her children and friends. To keep her mind sharp she enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to audio books and expressing her creativity through painting. Her passion for these activities brought joy to her and to those around her.

She is survived by her children, Heidi LeBeau, Denise DeAndrea, Kenneth LeBeau, Lisa Dubois, Christopher LeBeau, Jason LeBeau, as well as countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-greatgrandchildren.

Friends who will miss her dearly include life long friends and those from The First United Methodist Church, her Book Clubs, Art Classes and Bake Sales.

Beverly was predeceased by 2 of her children, her daughter, Robin Christina LeBeau and her son, Randolph Lee LeBeau Jr.

A Service followed by a Celebration of Life reception will be held on February 15, 2025, at 3 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 66 Chestnut St., Oneonta, NY 13820.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, Beverly had a special connection to her son Jason, who has Downs Syndrome. Donations may be made in Bev's memory to The Arc Otsego, which supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Arc Otsego, 35 Academy St., Oneonta, NY 13820. Beverly's legacy of strength, love, generosity, and grace will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
