WEST ONEONTA – Beverly A. Wade, 74, passed away September 3, 2020 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, after a long struggle with Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis.

She was born April 27, 1946 in Bristol, CT, the daughter of William H. and Albertine M. (Fournier) Cox.  Beverly was raised in the Adirondack Mountains.

She married Frank R. Wade 3 ^rd in December of 1996 at the First Baptist Church in Oneonta.

Beverly was employed by a lawyer in Port Henry, then worked in Human Resources at both NYSEG and Walmart in Oneonta.

She was an officer in the First Baptist Church in Oneonta. She was also the secretary for the Filipino-American Association of Upstate New York.  Beverly was a talented artist, craftsman and gardener.  She loved to sing and play the guitar.

She is survived by her husband, Frank R. Wade 3 ^rd ; daughter, Beverly Kelly Jr.; son, David Kelly Jr.; sister, Barbara and Russell Denton; brothers, Bob and Donna Cox, Bill and Barbara Cox, David Merret and Cindy Cox; sister-in-law, Joanne and Richard Bliss; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren; Nana's favorite little Elton and his mother, Ellen; and special friends, Pastor Randy and Laura Palada and family, and the First Baptist Church family.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Bruce Cox.

A private family service will be held at the gravesite with Pastor Randy Palada, officiating.
