Worcester – Blondie Morell, 80, passed away April 15, 2026, at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.

He was born March 7, 1946, in Cooperstown, the son of Charles and Ada (Burton) Morell.

He was employed by Greenleaf Steel Rule and Die in Schenevus for 42 years.  Blondie enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, and attending car shows with his son. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Morell; children, Harold (Erika) Morell, Rose (Rob) Werlau, Paula Morell, and Brian (Miranda) Morell; grandchildren, Josh Butkus, Jenna Morell, Ethan and Austin Werlau, Philip Morell, Mya Lopez, Connor and Calla Morell; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and several siblings.

As per Blondie's request, there will be no services at this time.  A celebration will take place at a later date.
