BURLINGTON FLATS – Brian A. Clements, 46, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Bassett Healthcare Hospital in Cooperstown, after a short illness.
He was born October 24, 1963 in Cooperstown, the son of George and Joyce (Devine) Clements.
Brian graduated from Schenevus Central School, Class of 1981.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force for 4 years as a ground radio communication specialist, than came home to help on the family farm until his father's death.
He married Cornelia Grum on January 17, 1998 in Schenevus.
Brian worked several water bottling plants including Aqua Valley Springs in Edmeston. He also worked at CZ-USA in Norwich as a Gun Smith, a job in which he really enjoyed.
He loved spending time with his sons, walking in the woods and teaching them how to shoot a rifle.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia; his two sons, Roland and Wolfgang; his mother, Joyce (Robert) Hennelly of Jordanville; brothers, David (Theresa) Clements of Westford, Doug (Linda) Clements of Westford, Daniel Clements of Pennsylvania and Theodore Clements of Garrettsville; sister, Karen Clements of New Jersey; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be at the Heller Funeral Home, Schenevus on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m., with the funeral service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Ronald Green, MM, pastor at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Rev. Joseph Chamberlin pastor at First Assembly of God Church, Little Falls, officiating.
