EAST WORCESTER - Brian Linden Ives, 21, passed away unexpectedly, March 7, 2011 in the Town of Fulton.

He was born on August 23, 1989 in Oneonta, the son of Tracy Linden and Nancy Ann (Stafford) Ives.

Brian was a lifelong area resident who worked as a carpenter and laborer.

Brian is survived by his father and step-mother, Tracy and Carol Ives of East Worcester; 3 sisters, Jennifer Ives of Richmondville, Amy Ives of East Worcester and Emily Ives of Unadilla; his grandmother, Joyce Stafford of East Worcester; 3 aunts, Joann Bellinger of Schenectady, Nancy Ives of Schenectady and Leah Knapp of East Worcester; a uncle, Steve Ives of Worcester; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins; 4 step-brothers, David Blackwell of Troy, NY, Ken Blackwell of Santa Monica, CA, Brian Blackwell of Elk Grove Village, IL and Michael Blackwell of South Bury, CT.

He was predeceased by his mother Nancy Ann Stafford.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St. in Worcester with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, chaplain at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, officiating.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm on Saturday.
