Oneonta - Bridget (Kenney) Bredin, 60, passed away suddenly on May 17, 2025 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.

Bridget was born December 2, 1964 in Queens, NY. She was a graduate of Delaware Academy. She was the manager of the Celtic Motel in Oneonta.  She lived for her beloved children and work.

She is survived by her husband, James Bredin; children, Adam (Bethany), Robert, Katherine Ann (Damian), Michael, Daniel, Alyssa (Blake) and Jacob; grandchildren, Charlie Jo and Teddy; her twin sister, Bethany VanGorden, siblings, Carole Perkins (Dan Mugford), Sue, Paul, Sherri and Rick; nephew, Christopher and niece, Samantha and many other nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her two sons, Kevin and Matthew.

Calling hours/wake will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 at the Lewis Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.

Funeral mass will be 1 PM on Friday, May 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 39 Walnut St. Oneonta with the Fr. Christopher Welch as celebrant. Burial will take place at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Oneonta.
