DECATUR - Candice M. Buck, 61, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2013.
She was born April 3, 1952 daughter of Marion Smith and Wilson Mason.
She was married to Charles W. Buck Jr. on March 5, 1980.
Longtime resident of Decatur, Candy was a kind, loving woman who was always willing to help others. She loved working with her ceramics and was always the jokester in the room. Candy loved her music and was always as cheerful as her songs. The most important thing to Candy was her family. She recently welcomed her great-granddaughter, Alayna, into this world and was overjoyed at holding her in her arms. She will be dearly missed by all, especially her grandchildren, Brionnah, Miranda, Shanna, Shelby, Angelina, and Dominick who she always made special time for. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Buck Jr. of Decatur; mother, Marion Smith of St. Johnsville; son, Brian Buck and daughter-in-law, Grace of Schenevus; daughter, Bobbi Jo Key and son-in-law, George of Richfield Springs, many grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous other family members.
There will be no service.
