Carol A.
Muehl
December 27, 1941 – October 27, 2021
Maryland – Carol A. Muehl, 79, passed away unexpectedly at her home from heart failure and went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2021.
She was born December 27, 1941 in Oneonta, the daughter of John and Helen (Rockefeller) Munson.
Carol grew up in Schenevus, attending Andrew S. Draper Central School.
She married Charles Muehl on March 21, 1964 in Las Vegas, NV. He predeceased her on January 1, 2010.
Carol's passion for crafting, sewing, knitting and gardening contributed to her opening the Schenevus Craft Store which she owned and operated for a number of years. After closing the store, she focused her time on being strongly involved in her grandchildren's activities and was always there to cheer them on! You could always count on her in time of need, lend a listening ear, worry for us so we would not have to and guide us! She will always have a special place in each of our hearts. Her family was the highlight of her life and we always came first! She was our rock and supportive in all of our lives. All of the love and cherished memories she created with each one of us will forever be in our hearts! "Mimi" will be greatly missed!
Carol is survived by her children, Bob Sutton Jr. (Joan) of Maryland, Lisa Cooper (John) of Schenevus, and Stacey Camilleri (Ernie) of Westford; grandchildren, Tony, Toby and Tomy Lopez, Alyson Caldwell and Regina Sutton, Jacob Sutton, Jenaye Broe, Seth Cooper, Anabelle and Gabriella Chiaravelle, Sophia and Amelya Camilleri; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, John Munson (Gloria); sisters-in-law, Jeanne France, Janice Childress (Doug), and Carolyn Muehl; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Robert Sutton Sr., daughter, Linda Briggs; brother, Ronald Munson and brothers-in-law, Jack Muehl and Morris France.
The family would like to send a special than you to her exceptional friends/neighbors: Jay, Chrissy and Jonathan Deitchman and Larry and Lize Fink who were always there to lend a helping hand and keep her company!
A private graveside service at the Schenevus Cemetery will be held at the convenience of family.
