Milford – Charles Edwin Sobers, 76, passed away peacefully at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown on April 18, 2024.

He was born December 16, 1947 in Oneonta, the son of James B. and Edna B. (Ross) Sobers.

Chuck graduated from Oneonta High School.  He worked at Amphenol for a short time and retired from the D & H Railroad.

He is survived by his brother, Frederick R. Sobers.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Ralph Sobers.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26, at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery, with the Rev. John Buddle, officiating.
