WESTFORD – Charles W. Strong, 40, passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2013.
He was born June 3, 1973 in Cooperstown, the son of Arthur W. and Ruth (Benjamin) Strong.
Charlie graduated from Schenevus Central School, Class of 1991. At one time he worked for Haggerty Ace in Cooperstown and Grantier Oil Co. in Cobleskill. He was an avid outdoors man and beyond. Charlie would always go out of his way to help anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Sheena (Long) Strong, who he married on May 16, 2009; two step-sons, Trent and Sabastian Boyles; his daughter, Lily Cheyenne Strong; his son, Kyle William Strong; his mother, Ruth Strong; grandmother, Evelyn Benjamin; sister, Donna Osborne; two brothers, Joel Strong and Samantha Terrell and Brian and Katie Strong; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father; paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
At Charlie's request there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be used for a fund for his children, payable to Sheena Strong and mailed to the Heller Funeral Home, PO Box 346, Schenevus, NY 12155.

Arrangements are under the guidance of the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St., Schenevus.
