Charles Tuthill, 93, was called home by his Creator as he passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026.

He was born on December 1,1932 in Sidney, NY to John (Jack) and Lillian (Rhodes) Tuthill.

He was married to his sweetheart for 59 years, Viola (Fuhrmann), who predeceased him on December 30, 2012.

He is survived by his four children, Sue Armstrong and her husband John of Queen Creek, AZ, Chuck Tuthill and his wife Sue (Stone) of Erskine, MN, Nancy Edwards and her husband Mark of Mt Upton, NY, Patty Phelan and her husband Jim of Pickerington, OH. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He put trust in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus as a teen and this faith guided him in all areas of life, including many years of serving in the local church. After retirement from Agway Lumber (formerly Winney Hill Lumber), he drove cars throughout the northeast for various car dealerships. He liked spending his free time woodworking, decoupaging, repairing vehicles, going to minor league baseball games, going to lumberjack competitions, traveling with his wife and friends, and especially going to tractor pulls at the county fairs throughout NY State. Most of all, he loved being with his family that he loved so dearly. He will be missed by all who knew him.

At Charles's request there will be no public service.
