Daniel Edward Conklin

March 22, 1988 – July 15, 2026

Daniel Edward Conklin, 38, passed away July 15, 2026.

He is survived by his mother, Linda (Armstrong) Conklin Strickland; his father, Steven (Rebecca) Conklin; his daughters, Angelea and Fraya; his siblings, Gregg Conklin, Nichole Conklin, Jared Conklin, and Logan Conklin; his grandfather, Jack (Jean) Armstrong; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ann Marie Armstrong, Beverly Evans and Edward Conklin.

Daniel loved children, especially his daughters, nieces and nephews. He shared a special bond with his relatives and some of his cousins.

He will be dearly missed by many.

On Monday, August 24, 2026 at the Foothills Performing Art Center, 24 Market St., Oneonta, you are invited to gather for our version of calling hours that will start at 6 p.m. Around 7 p.m. a gathering of remembrance will be held as we come together to honor his life and the memories shared with those who knew and loved him. Following the gathering everyone is invited to celebrate memories and moments of joy from his life over dessert.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the In Memory of Daniel Conklin, Salvation Army of Oneonta, 25 River St., Oneonta, NY 13820. This is Daniel’s charity of choice, as the Salvation Army helps and assists people with the Food Pantry, Emergency Assistant and the Christmas Gift Program.
