ONEONTA – Daniel Richard Garlick, 34, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born June 20, 1975 in Cooperstown.
Danny is survived by his fiancée, Allison Santos and her son, Brendan Rose, who Danny felt was like a great son to do things with. His parents, Richard and Karen Garlick of Milford; a sister, Lydia and her husband, Steve Garlick of Milford; brother, Lloyd and his wife, Angela Garlick of Milford; Uncle Kenny and Aunt Barb Tilley; his grandmother, Anna Tilley; nieces, Emily, Morgan, Isabelle, Michaela and Cierra and several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Lloyd Tilley and R. Leman and Lydia Garlick.
Danny graduated from Milford Central School and Delhi College with a building trades degree.
Danny worked for the City of Oneonta as a mechanic for the last 13 years. He worked on cars or any other moving vehicle that has a motor. Danny loved to tinker and ride on his "big boy toys".
Danny really enjoyed spending time with Allie and Brendan going to lawn sales every chance they could.
Danny will be buried at the Milford Center Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010. A gathering will be held at the Milford American Legion immediately after the burial. Danny would prefer that those who wish to attend the informal gathering to wear very casual clothing.
