Oneonta – David Charles Hanor, 81, passed away on December 28, 2023 at his home.

He was born January 29, 1942 in Oneonta, the son of Charles John and Marion Agnes (Cole) Hanor.

David was a United States Army veteran.

He was by trade a plumber, working for several area companies and was self-employed, before retiring as a Distribution Manager at The Daily Star.

He was a past member of the Elks Club; and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, as well as stamp collecting.

David is survived by his fiancée, Ann Marie Woehrle; his brothers, Burton and Linda (Drake) Hanor, Robert Hanor, and Norman and Susan (Jaklitsch) Hanor; brother-in-law, Mark (Elizabeth) Woehrle; as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends, Harold Keto and Rodney Ackley.

He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Steve Hanor, and former wife, Molly Foster.

A graveside service at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024.
