SCHENEVUS – David E. Hubbard passed away on November 21, 2018 at home surrounded by the people who loved him.

He was born on August 26,1959 in Worcester, NY to Frederick Hubbard and Phyllis Althiser.

David was an adventurer and devilish prankster who lived life to the fullest. His passion was going to lawn sales and thrift shops filling the car with treasures that almost always were given to someone who was in need.

A master story teller he kept you on the edge of your seat just waiting for the punch line. David's capacity for love and compassion was great and knew no bounds. A child in front of him at the grocery store whose mother said they couldn't afford that candy bar, was thrilled when David stepped in to buy it for him. For all who knew and loved him there will be a void that will never be filled.

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Hubbard; his son, Cotty Hubbard; sisters, Bonnie Buck, Sylvia Hill, Barbara Amo and brother, Fred Hubbard. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and last but not least his girl, Lisa Roberts.

There will be a private service for the family and donations can be made in David's name to the American Cancer Society.
