Oneonta – Deborah Ann Burleson, 55, passed away suddenly May 30, 2023 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.

She was born August 16, 1967 in Bethpage, NY.

Debbie is survived by her sons, Bradley and wife, Joy Burleson, Dale Hughs and Travis Hughs; her beloved grandchildren, Travis Hugh, Jr., Adalynne Burleson, Hannah Hughs and Wyatt Hughs; a sister, Jeanet; her close friend, Brenda Levers; and her fur baby, Petey Jay.

She was predeceased by her parents, James Burleson and Abigail Liestmann.

Debbie enjoyed doing crafts, especially crocheting and sewing.  One of her favorite places to visit was the Outer Banks, she loved spending time there with her family at the beach.  She adored her grandchildren; they were her pride and joy.  She impacted everyone she met.  If you knew her, she would always take you under her wing and show her love like you were her own child.  She loved photos! She was always taking photos of the people she loved. She would always say, one day they will be all we have.

Debbie gave the ultimate gift of life, by donating her organs.  She had a huge loving heart and the family hopes that her bright light shines through the recipients of those she helped to live on.
