Worcester – Debra Ann Cook, 63, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024 at Rochester General Hospital.

Debra was born March 6, 1960 in Centereach, NY, the daughter of George and Carol (Kraker) Tetenes.  She graduated from Ward-Melville High School on Long Island.

Debra is survived by her husband, David Cook; her sister, Sheryl Rizzuto; nieces and nephews, Roger (Christine), Philip and Marissa; aunt and uncle, Ritia and Leo Tetenes; brothers-in-law, Timmy and Danny; sister-in-law, Tinna (Greg) and their daughter, Emmiliene; and an uncle-in-law, Bruce Hollenback, as well as several cousins.

Debra loved to sew, making quilts, pot holders and holiday center table placements.  She belonged to the Women's Quilting Club in Worcester.

She married Davis Cook on November 5, 1995 in their living room at their home in Worcester.  She loved animals, the outdoors, looking at their pond, and watching her hummingbirds fly to the feeders.  Debra was friendly, sincere and courteous to anyone she met and became friends with many people in Worcester.  She enjoyed the holiday seasons, especially Christmas.  She loved to take rides after Christmas dinner around the streets to look at the Christmas lights.

She will be greatly missed with love in Worcester with all family and friends.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester; with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle officiating.
