Garnerville, NY – Donald R. Connor Jr. passed away October 31, 2019 with his loving wife and brother-in-law, Frank by his side.
He was born July 16, 1963 in Whitestone, Queens, NY, the son of Donald and Lorraine Connor.
Donald was born and raised in Whitestone. Following in his father's footsteps, Donald worked for the Sheet Metal Union Local 28 in New York City for 35 years. He was known by many to be larger than life with a hilarious sense of humor and contagious laugh. He loved traveling to Hawaii with his wife (her native state) and daughter. He would sit on the cliffs of Hawaii listening to Pink Floyd. He had a great group of friends and family whom loved him dearly.
Donald is survived by his wife, Puanani of 25 years; a beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn; mother, Lorraine Connor of Schenevus; sisters, Jean Connor of Boca Ratan, FL, Patricia Carimando of Schenevus, and Lorraine Pepaj (Tony) of Schenevus; brother, James Connor (Craig) of Stroudsburg, PA; mother-in-law, Catherine Phillips of Honolulu, HI; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Phillips (Janice) of Honolulu, HI, and Frank Phillips (Nancy) of Worcester, MA. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and close family friends and his cat, Sparkles.
He was predeceased by his father, Donald R. Connor Sr.; father-in-law, Kenneth Phillips I, and both grandparents.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 201 Main St., Worcester, NY, the Rev. James Donlon, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
A private luncheon for family and close friends immediately following.
