EDMESTON – Donald C. Mann, 63, born July 9, 1954 at Southside Hospital, Bay Shore, Long Island, NY, recently living in Edmeston for the past 10 years, died suddenly Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home. Born to Charles F. Mann and Irene Mann, originally from Lindenhurst, NY. The family moved to Mt. Vision in 1965.
He is survived by his mother, Irene (Mann) Harlem; his brothers, Charles (Sue) of Mt. Vision, Kenneth of Oneonta, and Robert (Karen) of Laurens; his aunts, Marjorie Brush of Williamsburg, VA and Dorothy Meehan of Medford; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Charles F. Mann.
Donald graduated from Laurens Central School in 1972. He attended Delhi Tech and the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Science. Donald had a great interest and passion in studying astronomy and was very much looking forward to the upcoming lunar eclipse.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a gathering at the home of Donald's brother, Robert at 18 Laurel Lane, State Route 205, Laurens, NY on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in the Burlington Green Cemetery on a future date at the convenience of the family.
