Obituary

Clarksburg, MD - Donna Rae (Hilsinger) Nagle, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 9, 2026, in Clarksburg, Maryland.

Born on Aug. 30, 1937, in Cooperstown, Donna was the daughter of the late Jay and Cora (Pickard) Hilsinger.

Donna grew up in Worcester, where she graduated from Worcester Central School. She continued her education at Hartwick College, laying the foundation for a life enriched by community involvement.

She married William "Jack" Nagle and together they built a life until his passing.

Donna was a devoted mother to her son, David Nagle (Joya Gray Nagle) and her daughter, Kim Nagle Gibbons. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Taylor Gibbons (Angela Villatoro), Erin Gibbons Mongelli (Rocco Mongelli), Gradyn Nagle, and Chase Nagle, as well as a great-grandmother to Amelia Gibbons and Rocco (RJ) Mongelli.

Throughout her life, Donna was actively engaged in her community, as a member of the Worcester Fireman's Auxiliary, helping to preserve local history through her involvement with the Worcester Historical Society, and the Worcester Central School Alumni Association.

Donna was also a passionate bridge player, playing with the local bridge club for years, enjoying both the competition and the camaraderie. Donna loved summers and gardening, spending hours tending her flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by those closest to her.

Donna relocated to Maryland to live with her daughter in December 2020 but always held a deep affection for the town of Worcester and the many memories it held. Donna's legacy is one of love for family, commitment to community, and an appreciation for life's simple joys. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
