Sherburne – Doris Ransier, 76, passed away January 22, 2019 at her home amongst her friends and care providers.

Doris was born June 23, 1942. She lived at the Springbrook Cook Street Home in Worcester for 30 years, prior to moving to the Knapp Street Home in Sherburne, where she has been residing for the past 4 years.

Doris was a feisty lady with a huge heart. She loved music, Elvis and singing songs about Jesus were her favorites.   She will be dearly missed by her friends and those who considered her family.

Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to the funeral at 5 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Dr. Kenneth Fallon, officiating.

She will be laid to rest at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester at a later date.
