Doris Green Shearer's Obituary
ONEONTA - Doris Green Shearer passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 at her home in Oneonta.
She was born February 6, 1926 in Gloversville, NY, the daughter of Harry A. and Hazel (Templeton) Green.
After graduating high school Doris attended SUCO where she studied and became a teacher.
Doris married Bruce C. Shearer of Oneonta in 1947 who preceded her in death last year.
She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara and husband LeRoy House of Wexford, PA, and Nancy and husband Ignacio Reyes of Chino Valley, AZ; two grandchildren, Kimberly House and LeRoy House IV.
She loved art and was an avid reader.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 27, 2008 at 1p.m. at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta, with the Rev. Kenneth Baldwin, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery, Oneonta.
