MILFORD – Doris E. Welch, 80, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 25, 2017 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.

She was born September 1, 1937 in Oneonta, the daughter of Fred and Mildred (Weaver) Loucks.

Doris is survived by her husband Jim Welch whom she married on June 10, 1955; three children, Cindy Cole, Cheryl Sargent, and Daniel Welch; three grandchildren, John Welch, Dale Cole and Michelle Post; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her siblings, Thelma Harrison, Ester Vogel, and Jerry Loucks.

She was predeceased by parents, and siblings, Bill Loucks, Clayton Loucks and Hilda Hanson.
