Obituary

WESTFORD - Dorothy Johnson, 84, entered into rest on Sunday, April, 12, 2015.

Dotty was born on November 17, 1930 in New York City to Harry & Eva Barbara
(Nierdka) Trofinoff.

In 1950, she married the love of her life, Harold Johnson, at St. Brigid's
Church and together they had four beloved children. She and Harold raised their
family in New York City until after his passing. Dotty then moved her family to
Westford which she made her home for almost forty years.

Dotty was a caregiver to the elderly beginning with the caring for her own
mother until her passing and then others in the area. She was devoted to her
family and never missed a wedding, baptism nor graduation. When she wasn't
sculpting a new ceramic masterpiece, knitting for grand- and
great-grandchildren, painting, planting or traveling, she could be found
indulging her vigorous passion for Bingo and Scrabble.

She exuded a vivacious and passionate spirit, always emerging from any situation
with determination and grace. Her sense of humor, reassuring presence, and
indomitable spirit will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Dotty is predeceased by her
sisters, Helen Pyzow and Mildred Trofinoff; brothers, Fred Kotteck and Henry
Trofinoff.

She is survived by her children, son, Greg Johnson and wife, Grace, Hazleton,
PA; daughters, Millie Marullo and husband, Joe of Westford, NY, Patti Johnson,
Norwich, NY; and son, Steve Johnson and wife, Donna, Oneonta, NY. Ten
Grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at her home, 1785 County Highway 34, Westford on
Friday, April 24 beginning at 11 AM. Burial to follow on Saturday, April 25 at
St. Raymond's Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Avenue, Bronx, NY.

Memorial donations may be made in Dotty's name to the charity of your choice.
