Dorothy M. Reynolds, 82, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on January 18, 1932 in Lexington, NY; the daughter of Marion and Evelyn (Whitney) Place.
Dorothy worked in the cafeteria at the Worcester Central School for 17 years.
She has lived in Worcester for 60 years and was previously from Lexington, NY.
Dorothy was a member of the Worcester United Methodist Church, the Worcester American Legion 1584 Ladies Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Reynolds and her companion Jay Keil of Unadilla; her son Daryl Reynolds and his companion Karen Losie of Milford; 5 grandchildren, Jeremy, Megan, Tyler, Zachary and Colby; 7 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Hayden, Colton, Crispin III, Clayton, Cadence and Madison; 4 sisters, Katherine Howard, Marquerite Cross, Hilda Farro and Marion Pratt and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Edwin, her son Thomas and her sister Rita.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester with the Rev. Susan Wenner, officiating.
