Dorothy E. Wayman's Obituary
WORCESTER – Dorothy E. Wayman, 71, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare Hospital in Cooperstown.
She was born October 16, 1936 in Worcester, the daughter of Alfred and Mina (Morrell) Burton.
Dorothy married Donald Wayman Sr.
Most recently she was employed at the State University College at Oneonta.
Dorothy loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Donald Wayman Jr. of Worcester; a granddaughter, Katherine Wayman Rifenbark and her husband, Christopher T. Rifenbark of Worcester; a great-granddaughter, Cheyenne E. Rifenbark; a brother, Lester Burton of Worcester; a sister, Tillie Resue of Richmondville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; and two brothers, Pete and Alfred Burton.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2008 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.
The funeral service will be Monday, April 28, 2008 at 1p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Judith A. Thislte, pastor at the Second Baptist Church in Worcester, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester.
