Edward W. Lorber's Obituary
DAVENPORT CENTER – Edward W. Lorber, 58, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 21, 1955 in Bay Shore, to Hilliard and (Eleanor) Lewis Austin.
Ed was raised in Saint Marys, Idaho by June Lorber. He enjoyed traveling the country as a truck driver. In March of 1999 he moved to upstate New York and was a well known carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judy Lorber; sons, Jonathon Lorber (Ashley Lawyer) of Davenport Center, Nathon Lorber of Davenport Center, and David (Heather) Pierce of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Arrihanna, Connor and Hayleigh; and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Ed and Judy's home for close friends and family, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2013.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Southern NY Region, 13 Beech St, Johnson City, New York 13790.
