WORCESTER– Edward Quinn Waterman, 65, passed away January 7, 2014 at home.
He was born August 4, 1948 in Oneonta, the son of Alton and Marie (Quinn) Waterman.
Ed was a proud United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He worked for several area businesses, including the Worcester Creamery, Astrocom Electronics, the Box Factory, and Dreams Park.
Ed was a life member of the Worcester American Legion and past commander, a member of the Schenevus VFW and Worcester Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially bowling.
He is survived by his significant other for over 30 years, Marilyn Figary and her children and their families; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and an infant son, Edward Quinn Waterman, Jr.
Calling hours will be 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the E.J. Skinner Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St., Worcester. The funeral will start at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, officiating.
Interment with military honors will be 2 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville.
