Elisa Fasano
July 20, 1941 - January 20, 2021
Elisa Fasano better known as Alice, 79, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.
Elisa was born July 20, 1941 in Puerto Rico. She was the daughter of Saturno and Luz Atanacio. When she was a young girl her family moved to Green Point, NY, where she grew up. She went on to become a wife, mother, and later a working woman at Leviton where she met Jerry Fasano. In 1994, they moved to El Paso, Texas, where they later married and lived for 27 years.
Alice attended Saint Matthew Catholic Church in El Paso. Alice loved attending church and the lord. She would do flower arrangements and volunteer for church events. She spent many hours praying for her family, friends & anyone who needed healing, hope, or peace. She made many wonderful friends at church and was blessed to have them apart of her life.
Alice loved her family; she was proud of who she was and where she came from. She loved entertaining, throwing dinner parties, cooking, and keeping a beautiful home. She loved spending time with her husband. They enjoyed eating out, traveling, going to the movies, and just being in each other's company. She loved music and dancing. She had a big heart and always gave to others whenever she had the chance. She loved her daughter Jeannette; they shared many laughs and daily phone calls with each other. She also loved being a grandma and was super proud of each of one of her grandchildren.
In November of 2020 Alice and Jerry decided to move back to New York, to be with their daughter, all the kids and family. The family is so grateful to have had some time with her before the Lord took her home. Alice was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandma, aunt, cousin, and friend. She lived a full life, was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, Gerard Fasano; her daughter, Jeannette Yodice; son, Alex Fasano; grandchildren, Christina Quadrio, Joseph and wife, Lindsay Quadrio, Kimberly and husband, Andy McDonald, Alex and Brooklyn Fasano; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Hayley, Grayson Quadrio; brothers, Danny and wife, Lynn, Junior and wife, Maryann Atanacio; her godchildren, nieces, nephews, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Alice was predeceased by her parents, Saturno and Luz Atanacio.
