Obituary

Elizabeth Golding of Worcester, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Cooperstown Center.

She was born January 14, 1916 in Bennington, Vermont; the daughter of Adelord and Irene Pellerin.

She married Charles W. Golding on June 16, 1934. He predeceased her in 1990.

In 1947, they moved to New York State and purchased a dairy farm on Brooker Hollow Road in East Worcester. In 1985 they sold the farm and moved to Decatur.  In 1998 she moved to Worcester where she lived for 18 years until 2016.

Through the years she worked as a seamstress in a dress shop, a glove shop in Schenevus and at Cobleskill Hospital until she retired at age 70.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Worcester.

Elizabeth is survived by her 2 sons, Charles and Patricia Golding of Selkirk and Richard and Paula Golding of Rutledge, Tennessee, her 2 daughters, Janet and Harold Kenyon of Worcester and Linda and George Decker of Decatur, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and some nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester. The internment will be held in Bennington, Vermont at the convenience of the family.
