Obituary

WORCESTER – Elizabeth Rose (Tucker) Hammond, 42, passed away
unexpectedly on Saturday, May 17, 2008.

She was born May 26, 1965 in Glens Falls.

Beth graduated from Granville Central School in 1983 and also the
State University College at Oneonta, in 1998 with a Bachelors' Degree
in Psychology.

Beth married Lawrence K. Hammond on November 3, 1984 in Granville.
They lived in Portland, Maine from September of 1985 to June of 1991,
when they moved to Worcester. He predeceased her on February 11,
2005.

Beth was employed at The Arc Otsego in Oneonta as an Individual
Personal Coordinator.

Beth was the "Biggest Loser"; she worked very hard in losing over 100
pounds in the past year and half.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence K. Hammond, Jr. of Worcester; her
daughter, Tanya Hammond of Cooperstown; her parents, Richard and
Margaret Tucker of Cobleskill; two sisters, Ann Marie Tucker of
Portland, Maine and Sue Mackey of Pawlet, Vermont; two brothers,
Richard Tucker, Jr. of Gloversville and Warren (Jake) Tucker of
Cobleskill; four aunts, two uncles, and several cousins, nieces and
nephews; and her father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Leisa Hammond
of Middle Granville.

Calling hours will be held at the E.J. Skinner Funeral Chapel in
Worcester on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. with the funeral
service at 8 p.m., with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, Chaplain at the
A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the
Bethany Cemetery in Truthsville, NY.
