Palantine Bridge - Elizabeth L. Fancher, 96, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam.
She was born on December 10, 1915 in South Westerlo, NY, the daughter of Harrison and Florence (Covenhoven) Palmer.
Elizabeth married Harold Fancher in South Westerlo on October 16, 1938. He predeceased her in 1982.
She was a lifelong area resident who was a member of the East Worcester United Methodist Church and the Worcester Grange.
Elizabeth is survived by her sister-in-law, Iva Davis of Cobleskill; 2 nephews, Phil (Kathy) Davis and Gary (Susan) Davis; 2 nieces, Carol (Donald) Shutt and Marilyn Hopkins; 2 great nieces; 1 great nephew and a cousin, Leland Brown.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester with the Rev. Nancy Dulkis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Maple View Cemetery in East Worcester.
There will be no calling hours.
