Whisper of Age
A whisper of age is touching her face
But the tender touch of youth is still
in her heart.
She thinks back to years gone by when
her sixteen children were by her side.
Youth and strength are fleeting away
with every moment of every day but
with the hope that someday she'll
find that perfect resting place when
she leaves this world behind.
When she goes we all will miss her-
that loving smile, that sweet devoted
love for her loved ones.
Until the end of time she will always
be our MOM.
William H. White
