MILFORD - Ellery F. Bostwick, 70, passed away March 16, 2018 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown in the presence of his family.

He was born May 16, 1947 in Oneonta, the son of Ellery M. and Dorothy (Quick) Bostwick.

Ellery graduated from Oneonta High School Class of 1968.

He married Linda Hinkley August 4, 1968 in Cooperstown Junction Methodist Church.

Ellery worked at as a Dairy Farmer, for Dutcher's Amusement, Cooperstown Fenimore Museum, and most recently Cooperstown Central School.

He was volunteer for Milford Fire Department for 39 years, and a Milford Town Justice for many years. Ellery enjoyed camping, fishing, working in his garage and loved being with his family and gong to their school events.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Bostwick; his children, Jeremy Bostwick, Jennifer (Bob) Hughes, and Joel Bostwick and fiancée, Shelley Stocking; grandchildren, Brandon Bostwick, Connor Scott Morris, Danny Hughes, Connor Hughes, Kelsey Hughes, Addy Lawson and Christian Lawson; siblings, Elaine Eager and Charles Bostwick; and many nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance will be 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at the Milford Fire Department, 64 South Main St., Milford
