Elsie M. Mitchell, 78, passed away Thursday November 8, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on May 12, 1934 in Finland, the daughter of Alfred and Ester Josephson.
Elsie was a life long area resident and homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Dawn) Mitchell of Charlotteville, Sylvia (Charles) Merwin of Richmondville, Deborah Watson of Charlotteville and Wayne Mitchell of Charlotteville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Karl Josephson of Finland and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond in 2001.
