Evelyn P. Glionna, 93, formerly of East Worcester went to be with The Lord Monday, February 25, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on November 25, 1919 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of Harry Clark and Hazel Swan.
Evelyn married Joseph Glionna. He predeceased her in August of 2000.
She was a very giving and caring person.
Evelyn was a homemaker and caregiver for many years.
Evelyn was a member of St. Joseph's Church and Alter Rosary Society in Worcester and the Friendship Club in East Worcester.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, John Glionna; her 2 sisters-in-law, Stella Thompson and Katherine Rusch; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Joseph's Church, Main Street in Worcester with the Rev. Ronald Green, MM as celebrant.
The Committal service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church, 181 Main Street, Worcester, NY 12197; Worcester Emergency Squad, PO Box 191, Worcester, NY 12197; or the East Worcester First Responders, PO Box 781, East Worcester, NY 12064.
