SCHENEVUS – Evelyn Rose Perry, 89, passed away January 13, 2009 peacefully at A.O. Fox Nursing home in Oneonta.
Evelyn was born July 8, 1919, the daughter of William and Anna (Kelly) La France.
Evelyn Rose and William Joseph Perry were married in 1940 in Stoughton, MA. William predeceased her in December of 1992.
Evelyn was a homemaker and an area resident for many years. Her life revolved around her husband, William and her family.
She is survived by two sons, Bernard of Norwell, MA, and Ronald (Joyce) of Stoughton, MA; one daughter, Janice (Herb) Johnston of Westford, NY; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan) Mohanor of FL, James (Jen) Perry of AZ, Lisha (James) Trotochaud of NH, Cheryl (David) of NY, Bill (Lisa) Johnston of MA, Melissa (Gary) Padula of MA, Todd and Thomas Perry of MA; thirteen great-grandchildren, Annie and Olivia Mahanor of FL, Sophia and Audry Perry of AZ, Derek, Taylor and Luke Trotochaud of NH, Jessica Parker of NY, Billy, Bryan and Jacqueline Johnston of MA, Ashlyn Padula of MA, Jason Perry of MA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by one daughter-in-law, Susan Perry of Norwell, MA and one granddaughter Dawn Robicheau of Rockland, MA.
At Evelyn's request she was cremated. There will be no calling hours or local services.
A graveside service will take place in Stoughton, MA at the convenience of the family.
The Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St. in Schenevus, is serving the family.
